Rules, code of conduct, whatevah:
- One account per person, guys.
- Any cases of harassment and abuse will be taken seriously and will result in a ban. There are no second chances.
- Admins will enforce literacy throughout all role playing boards and will maintain this through strict procedure. All threads are moderated, and you will be informed if you are not meeting the requirements. Failure to comply and follow the rules will result in immediate action, in which you will receive either a warning or a ban. You're fine in the OOC areas, though. ;)
- Do not post in blinding colours and huge fonts. If you really do need to do it, take it to the Spam section. If it is found anywhere else, it will be deleted and you will receive a warning. The same goes for other kinds of spam.
- All topics must go to their right category and section. If not, they will be moved/deleted.
- Depending on the nation that you choose to roleplay, you must be at least tangentially aware of its history, foreign affairs, customs, and culture.
- Do not post on a topic where it is not your place to post. For example, if a character calls out another character, you will not interfere. Do not interrupt a role play upon your own whims and needs.
- If you have a problem or complaint about someone on the forum, please do not hesitate to inform the admins.
- How you role-play is up to you, as long as you follow the rules. You may also customise your profile as you'd like, as long as it isn't offensive.
- We encourage you to be creative with your OCs. Please do not have your OC look/act like another or have the same name.
- We will have routine activity checks every month. Failure to post will result in deletion of all your accounts (this is disregarded if you are on vacation or busy, and have notified the admins of this).
- Don't go around bashing others' ideas. That's not cohesive to a creative environment. If you have an disagreement, try and talk it out and come to a compromise. If you really can't agree, you can call a mod in to make a decision for you.
- Grammar and spelling, my favorite topic. Grammar and spelling are key in being understood and in being a lucid roleplayer. If you want people to take you seriously, grammar and spelling are a good place to start. In most cases, if your grammar and spelling are sub-par, you will be asked to improve yourself. If you can't manage to do so, you will almost certainly be kicked. If you have a valid reason for having grammar and spelling that could be considered sub-par, then I can accept it. I will often correct posts with bad grammar or spelling errors. This is not an excuse to be lazy, merely an alternative to seeming unintelligible.
- Please, keep your accounts clean! I mean we try to have a unifrom standard of accounts here. A correctly spaced and capitalized name, a non-cluttered signature, etcetera. It's not mandatory, but it does look nice when we're all official looking.
- Please respect the admins. They're trying their best.
- General Manners, please, people.
